 It is a flower of Passiflora incarnata. This climber is found everywhere in Orissa in cultivated condition as an ornamental plant. It is called Tamala, Krishna Tamala, RadhaTamala etc  its stem and leaves are used to prepare tea which is much useful in insomnia and nervine weaknesses.
In homeopathy it is a very important remedy and considered a good sedative.

This is a creeper of Passiflora foetida. It is native to Orissa and frequent everywhere in scrubby forest. Its leaves are oily and its fruit is covered with a net which make it conspicuous. the flower is white. I have given it the name Gandhatamala. I don't know by what name people call it and also ignorant of its medicinal uses. So please share you information if any you have on its medicinal uses. It should be having some important medicinal value as because it belong to the family of passiflora.
